b_100_75_16777215_00___images_Articles_Christmas_christmas_crackers.jpgTo celebrate Epiphany at Holy Trinity, we held a "Crackers and Carols" evening which was enjoyed by a mixture of 40 members of our Church family and their friends.

The proceedings commenced with a light home prepared supper of soup and cheese rolls followed by apple crumble and custard and continued with a number of silly games which many of the revellers threw themselves into wholehearedly. The highlight of the night must surely have been the image of Michael [one of our Readers ] dressed in a huge chiffon hat and apron and wearing a pair of mustard coloured tights! Let me explain that we were playing a"pass the parcel" type game which incorporated having to delve into a fancy dress bag and put on whichever garment you happened to pull out. All participants were great sports and much merriment ensued.

To finish the evening the Choir led us in a rousing half hour of Carol singing which completed a truly memorable evening of good food and singing, great fun and much laughter. In fact. just the right tonic for a dark, cold Winter night.
