b_100_75_16777215_00___images_Articles_FromPews_churchholiday_wsm_021.jpgMonday 12th September 2011 saw the start of my first trip away with the "recycled teenagers" of our church, and what fun I have been missing!  We made our way by coach, to Weston Super Mare, where we were to spend the next three days.  During the stay we had trips to Bristol, Cheddar and Wells and spent much of the time laughing.

The company ranged from the mildly quaint to the raving mad and I count myself among the latter group ! Barry had made a great choice of hotel, the food, accomodation and service was very good and David, our coach driver provided extra entertainment.  Some of the more foolhardy of the group risked life and limb, to have a ride on WSM's answer to the London Eye, which gave a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. Unfortunately, a couple of unsuspecting ladies were "kidnapped" quite unintentionally and bundled on to a bus for a mystery ride along the coast. Those wanting more details must ask Margery or Pat, but I can assure everyone that it all turned out alright in the end. Many thanks to Barry for organising such a delightful holiday.  I have already paid my deposit for next year!
